Trivium collaborated with the Sullivan Museum over the course of two years on a multi-phased experience. We redesigned an interactive display for the General Sullivan: Reflections on Service exhibit, and brought to life a media experience focused on Norwich University Alumni who are Medal of Honor recipients. In the General Sullivan interactive, visitors can access a library of videos and interviews with the Sullivan Museum’s namesake to learn about his storied military history and his outlook on life, service, and learning. Norwich Valor highlights and honors the many alumni throughout Norwich University history who are Medal of Valor recipients across all branches of the military and many decades of history, dating back to the Civil War. An interactive touchscreen kiosk allows visitors to navigate through alumni by class year, conflict, medal type, and military branch. The updated Theater presents videos and films from the Museum’s collection in an interactive, immersive format. Each exhibit is updatable through Trivium’s on-line content management system. Trivium partnered with Electrosonic for hardware and lighting specification and integration.
This project won 1st place for the 2023 New England Museum Association's Publication Award.
